  • Phil--

Welcome back. And to think, after all this time, that we are being treated to the mysterious Beaver Teeth. It's a lot to take in, and I have a personal rule about not offering comments that have been, as yet, unasked for. And Robert G. is far better at providing useful insight than I could ever be.

Let the succeeding chapters flow like steaming mud down a mountainside! And I think a good friend of mine could be a bang-up Chester in the movie version. As long as you don't mind him having a beard. He has a beard.

Finally, one note from the Valley of Coincidences: When I read your reference to Microlimp, it reminded me of a small thing I wrote in which I referred to a sponsor of a program as being MicroPimp. In rhyming, there is brotherhood.

  • I'm new here, but I just gotta say it was a great place to leave off, until the next installment. I like it. I got a weird sense of disassociation as I read it. I kept wanting to flip the LP over or something. Why does this affect me like that?

  • No one knows me here, but I just read the first chapter and enjoyed it very much. Wished it was bound book. Still waiting for the print edition of "Tales of the Old Detective," too.

Best of luck with this, Mr. Austin. It deserves a wider audience.

You know, I too would really like to see a bound copy of "Tales." Thanks for checking in here and hope you read the rest of it.
